Abstract

Legal protection of contract workers' rights in work agreements implementing the Job Creation Law at PT. Commitment from Indotrade Friends. In implementation in the field, a deviation occurred, namely that in employing its employees, this company provided overtime to its employees outside of the working hours stipulated in the applicable laws and regulations. The existence of overtime requires workers to carry out overtime in accordance with the direction of their superiors and if the worker does not carry out overtime, the worker will be given disciplinary action in accordance with company regulations. Company PT. Sekawan Indotrade's commitment is not in accordance (does not implement) the provisions of the law, which results in workers who do overtime outside working hours not getting the right to work overtime where the right to work overtime is protected by the state. Obstacles faced in implementing legal protection for workers at PT. Commitment from Indotrade Friends. The inhibiting factor in implementing legal protection for workers is workers' lack of knowledge (education) regarding the rights and obligations of workers who work longer than usual at PT. Indotrade Sekawan's commitment is that workers are also afraid of the leadership when carrying out work that they feel is not in accordance with their main duties and duties and do not dare to convey these complaints to the relevant leadership. It is very unfortunate that workers also do not read the work agreement in detail regarding the work agreement.
