Abstract

Character education is an essential component in shaping a young generation that is noble in character, possesses integrity, and is religiously devout. This study aims to describe the implementation of character education based on Islamic values at SD Muhammadiyah II Kramat Jakarta Pusat, which is integrated into the subjects of Adab Islami, Al-Islam, Kemuhammadiyahan, Arabic Language, Tahsin, and Tahfidz. The research approach employed is descriptive qualitative, using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The findings reveal that teachers play a strategic role as role models, facilitators, motivators, and innovators in instilling character values.
