Abstract

Official vehicles play an important role in supporting a company’s operational activities, particularly in facilitating employee mobility. At PT Astra International Tbk, the vehicle borrowing process is still carried out manually, which causes various problems such as delays in request submission and approval, risk of data loss, limited monitoring of borrowing status, and potential miscommunication among related parties. These conditions lead to low efficiency and transparency in managing official vehicles. To address these issues, this study develops an integrated web-based official vehicle borrowing information system. The system is designed to simplify the processes of request submission, approval, driver assignment, and real-time monitoring of vehicle usage. The system is developed using PHP with the Laravel framework, MySQL as the database, and Bootstrap to support a responsive and user-friendly interface. The system development follows the Waterfall method, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing using the black box testing method. The results of this system are expected to improve efficiency, accuracy, and speed in managing official vehicle borrowing administration, as well as reduce errors and delays that commonly occur in manual systems.
